The regulatory function is vital in making safe and effective healthcare products available worldwide. Individuals who ensure regulatory compliance and prepare submissions, as well as those whose main job function is clinical affairs or quality assurance are all considered regulatory professionals.

One of our most valuable contributions to the profession is the Regulatory Code of Ethics. The Code of Ethics provides regulatory professionals with core values that hold them to the highest standards of professional conduct.

The site navigation utilizes arrow, enter, escape, and space bar key commands. Left and right arrows move across top level links and expand / close menus in sub levels. Up and Down arrows will open main level menus and toggle through sub tier links. Enter and space open menus and escape closes them as well. Tab will move on to the next part of the site rather than go through menu items.
RAPS is closely monitoring developments in the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. See our public safety page for the latest updates.

RAPS Training Center is located just outside Washington, DC, in Montgomery County, Maryland, near the Capitol Beltway (Route 495) at 5635 Fishers Lane, Suite 400 (fourth floor), Rockville, Maryland 20852.
Parking is available at the RAPS Training Center at the cost of $2 per hour, max $8 per day (no unlimited in or out privileges). The garage opens at 7:00 am. Parking expenses are the responsibility of the individual; RAPS will not validate parking.
From Fishers Lane, turn left on the side street in between USP and 5635 Fishers Lane and follow that to a stop sign. The parking attendant is on the right just past the stop sign. Once you park, you can access the building from either the terrace level or level 3. If exiting the garage at the terrace level, walk out of the garage and up the side road toward Fishers Lane, enter the door on the left and take the elevator to the fifth floor, Suite 550. If exiting the garage from level 3, walk outside to the brick courtyard, enter the doors to the right of the café and take the elevator to the fourth floor, Suite 400.
Get turn-by-turn directions
Take the Washington, DC, Metro red line to the Twinbrook Metro stop (note: when coming outbound on the red line from downtown DC, be sure to board a train destined for Shady Grove; Grosvenor-bound trains run the same direction but turn around before the Twinbrook station). The RAPS offices are about a two block walk from the Twinbrook Station. When exiting the Twinbrook station, come down the steps of the metro and take the East exit, to your left. You walk across two pedestrian crossings to the car park (this is also the bus pick up area). Proceed to walk in a diagonal direction across the car park to the exit at the far side surrounded by trees.
When walking you should see the gas station and the US Pharmacopeia building. Walk across the street on to Fishers Lane. RAPS is in the second building on the left (which is next door to USP), at 5635 Fishers Lane. We are on the 4th Floor in Suite 400.
